you know

There is nothing better than waking up to a warm room and a blanket of snow on the window sill.

Then you realise it’s going to rain later.

And all you can do is pray that that doesn’t happen, that the Weather Man is wrong, as he often is. Even if, you know, the forecast says there is 100% chance it’ll rain.

I will be fine; just say you’ll stay forever mine ’til we fall asleep tonight.

The weather has been ridiculous. It is December, and it’s been 18C –18!!! In December! And can it be?– one day, 4 the next.

Today is a wet and gloomy day, best for staying indoors, hunched over the next paper and drinking hot 六味汤 that currently bubbles over the burner.

May the heaters work. That would be nice too.

  • the sky is a mesmerizing blue;
  • the air is a blanket of ice.

Because if you choose not to endorse something, it’s not real. If you vote against it, it’s not true.

in a very real way that humans die.

The only problem is, they don’t feel dead.

(Ok maybe that isn’t the only problem.)
